Aperol is a
low-strength aperitif made since 1919 to a secret recipe including both rhubarb
and orange along with a wide assortment of herbs and roots. Immensely popular
in Italy, its home country.
Tasting Notes
Nose: lightly alcoholic, testing orange with
appealing complex herbal scents harmonized with a touch of vanilla.
Body: intense orange top with herbal and woody
body notes, pleasantly bittersweet and salty.
Texture: velvety and rounded, with long-lasting orange and wood memories backtaste : herbal long pleasant typical bitterness.
