CHAPELLE DE LA TRINITE SAINT EMILION
The
chapelle de la trinité, the trinity chapel (the limestone chapel on the label
of the wine) was built on the original grotto and is the very centre of the
town of saint-emilion, which is a unesco world cultural heritage site today.
Borie-manoux is the only wine producer entitled to use this name and picture of
the chapelle de la trinité.
A
dense dark ruby red colour. Black cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, strawberry,
coffee aromas, with notes of almonds, plum. On the palate, medium bodied,
smooth and expressive with round, well integrated tannins.
