LUXARDO TRIPLE SEC ORANGE
It is difficult to make a good Orange liqueur. Luxardo passes
the test with flying colors. The refined Triple Sec of Luxardo is the result of
the distillation of bitter oranges from Curaçao and sweet oranges and
tangerines from Sicily, enriched by the delicate aroma of orange blossoms.
Luxardo's Triplum Orange Liqueur is vibrant, sharp and elegantly dry, with ripe
flavors bursting from the glass.Colour: trasparent. • Aroma: an intense nose of
citrus fruits, with bitter notes of curaçao, tempered by the perfume of zagara.
• Taste: smooth enveloping flavor of citrus fruits, a very well rounded and
mature taste. A surprising aromatic persistence, typical of distillates matured
in wood.On contact with ice, the liqueur releases an eyecatching roiling
'cloud' in the glass, proof of the aromatic presence of precious essential oils
Tasting Notes
This is the Luxardo version of a triple sec. It is distilled
from three types of citrus peels: mandarin, sweet oranges and bitter oranges
with orange blossoms and then aged in Finnish ash wood.
