CHATEAU LARROQUE BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR
Château Larroque is situated at the southern end of the left bank near the town of Langon. This Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon dominated red is from one of the best vintages in the last 20 years. It has attractive oak aromas with soft cassis and black cherry fruit flavours leading onto a complex palate with good structure and fine tannins which make it a wine punching well above its weight for the price.
Tasting Notes
Color: Dark garnet hue.
Nose: Red fruits, almond and hazelnut, with a faint vanilla aroma.
Mouth: The silky, velvety attack reveals a pleasant, concentrated and well-structured wine, wine a combination of fruits pastes’ flavors, liquorice and toasted notes, and an elegant finish.
Food pairings: Charcuterie, tapas, red meat, white meat, cheeses.
